Preferred

- Hands-on experience with Yokogawa and Emerson field instruments (HART and FF).
- Basic knowledge of DCS (Honeywell / Yokogawa / Invensys / Emerson) and PLC/SIS (Triconex / FSC / ProSafe-RS).
- Understanding of orifice and control valve flow calculations.
- Working knowledge of analytical instruments and sample handling systems.
- Familiarity with HART/FF protocols and the 475 field communicator.
- Experience in control valve overhauling and testing.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise instrumentation jobs assigned during the turnaround, working from the scope of work, drawings and BPCL SOPs.
- Make sure the execution contractor (instrument/LSTK) works to scope, follows work permits and complies with safety rules.
- Coordinate daily with BPCL Maintenance, Operations,



Fire & Safety, Projects and E&C; teams.
- Prepare the Bill of Material before each job, issue materials to contractors, and reconcile them after completion.
- Monitor job progress at site, log data in digital monitoring devices, and flag deviations to the BPCL Engineer-in-Charge daily.
- Check and witness measurement sheets signed by the execution agency.
- Report progress in BPCL formats and maintain a shift log with proper handover to the next shift.
- Work in the SAP Maintenance module. BPCL will give basic training.
