Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Corporate Lawyer with 5 years of post-qualification experience to support the companys legal and compliance functions. The role involves handling corporate governance, contract management, regulatory compliance, and advisory matters.
Key Responsibilities
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements, including:
- Vendor and service agreements
- Non-disclosure agreements (NDAs)
- Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs)
- Lease, licensing, and commercial contracts
Provide legal advice on day-to-day business operations and strategic initiatives
Ensure compliance with applicable laws, including Companies Act, 2013 and Other relevant corporate and commercial regulations
Identify legal risks and recommend mitigation strategies
Handle legal notices, claims, and dispute-related documentation
Coordinate with external legal counsel for litigation or specialized matters
Support in due diligence, transactions, and business restructuring activities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure legally sound decision-making
Liaise with internal stakeholders for legal documentation and compliance
Coordinate with external legal counsel for ongoing cases, ensure regular follow-ups, and provide timely updates to management
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Law (LLB); LLM is an added advantage
- Qualified to practice law in India (Bar Council registration preferred)
Experience Required
- 5 years of experience in corporate/legal roles
- Experience in law firms or in-house legal teams preferred
