About the Role

We're looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant to lead the financial reporting function at Getfive Advisors, reporting directly to the CFO. This role covers everything from day-to-day accounting and statutory compliance to fund accounting and NAV computation for the firm's AIF operations. You'll lead a small team of 2-3 people and work closely with senior management to ensure accurate, timely financial reporting and full regulatory compliance.

What You Will Do

1. Lead the accounting team and oversee daily accounting entries, bank reconciliation, accounts payable/receivable, and ensure timely closure of books
2. Oversee and finalize filing of PF, GST, TDS, and Income Tax Returns
3. Finalize monthly financial statements and MIS reports
4. Ensure accurate accounting of investments, unrealized gains/losses, and fair value adjustments in fund accounting and NAV computation

Monitor portfolio transactions, capital calls, drawdowns, distributions, and investment exits
6. Reconcile fund accounts with custodians, brokers, and banks
7. Support compliance with SEBI AIF Regulations and other applicable regulatory requirements
8. Coordinate with external auditors during audits

What We're Looking For

1. Qualified Chartered Accountant with 3-4 years of hands-on Finance & Accounting experience
2. Prior experience leading a small team (2-3 people)
3. Strong hands-on experience in day-to-day accounting, month-end closure, financial statements, and MIS reporting
4. Hands-on experience in GST, TDS, statutory compliance, and audit coordination
5. Fund accounting experience is a strong must-have, preferably from an AIF, Private Equity, Venture Capital, Asset Management, or similar financial-services setup
6. Hands-on exposure to NAV computation, investment accounting, unrealized gains/losses, and fair-value adjustments
7. Understanding of capital calls, drawdowns, distributions, and investment exits
8. Good working knowledge of Tally or any accounting/fund-accounting software
9. Candidate must be based in Gujarat/Ahmedabad or open to relocating to Ahmedabad
