Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

1. CNC Machine Operation

- Operate CNC turning or CNC milling machines under supervision.
- Load and unload components correctly.
- Follow approved work instructions and process sheets.
- Monitor the machining process and immediately report abnormalities.

2. Component Inspection

- Perform basic dimensional inspection of machined components.
- Compare component dimensions with engineering drawings and inspection requirements.
- Identify and report defective or out-of-tolerance components.

3. Tool & Machine Handling

- Assist senior operators in tool changing and machine setup.
- Learn basic tool-offset adjustment under supervision.
- Understand cutting tools, inserts, holders, and fixtures.

4. Drawing & Process Understanding

- Learn to read and understand basic engineering drawings.
- Understand dimensions, tolerances, surface finish symbols, and basic GD&T; concepts.
- Follow process sheets,



work instructions, and inspection standards.
- Develop basic knowledge of CNC programs and G-code/M-code.

5. Housekeeping & 5S

- Keep the machine and surrounding work area clean.
- Remove metal chips safely.
- Maintain tools, gauges, fixtures, and workpieces properly.
- Follow 5S, safety, and housekeeping standards

Preferred candidate profile

We are looking for CNC Machine Operator Freshers to join our machine shop and support CNC machining operations. The selected candidates will receive hands-on training in CNC machine operation, component inspection, tool handling, and basic machine setup.

The ideal candidate should have a basic mechanical understanding, willingness to learn, attention to detail, and a solid commitment to quality and safety.
