Role & responsibilities

- Own end-to-end delivery and ops of hygiene and non hygiene categories for 3000+ Dark Stores - housekeeping, pest control, site consumables etc.
- Act as the category owner for your zone: build the category plan, set the store-level norms, and drive category performance against cost and service targets
- Run daily operations across the zone - understaffed shifts, missed visits, failed deliveries, skipped pickups - and drive same-day closure with vendor supervisor
- Manage hyperlocal vendor base across multiple categories: onboarding, coverage mapping, performance reviews, replacement of weak partners
- Own category vendor scorecards for the zone and drive corrective action to closure
- Identify repeatedly failing stores, run root cause analysis, fix permanently, and escalate patterns to the category standard




- Be the single soft-services point of contact for Blinkit city operations in your zone; support audit and quality teams with store access, evidence and finding closure

Preferred candidate profile

- 3-5 years in multi-site or category operations, with at least 2 years managing locations remotely
- Currently in a City Lead, Cluster Manager, Area Manager, Territory Manager, Category Manager or Category Operations role
- Background in quick commerce, e-commerce, marketplace category operations, retail chains, QSR multi-outlet operations, 3PL warehousing or facilities management
- Comfortable with the operating rhythm of a high-frequency, high-volume network: daily exception lists, SLA clocks, weekly cycles, ruthless prioritisation
- Transparent written communication - escalation notes, action plans, RCA summaries
