Job Purpose

We are looking for experienced Crane Service Engineers / Field Service Engineers with hands-on experience in crane maintenance, troubleshooting, commissioning and customer support. The candidate will be responsible for providing technical service support at customer sites and ensuring maximum equipment availability and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Crane Service & Maintenance

- Perform preventive, breakdown and corrective maintenance of cranes.
- Troubleshoot and rectify mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and control-system issues.
- Carry out inspection, diagnosis, repair and replacement of defective components.
- Ensure proper maintenance and optimum performance of crane equipment.
- Maintain service reports, breakdown records and maintenance documentation.

2. Mandatory Crane Exposure

Candidates must have hands-on experience with one or more of the following:

- Crawler Cranes
- All-Terrain (AT) Cranes
- Truck Cranes / Truck-Mounted Cranes
- Telescopic / Hydraulic Cranes
- Rough-Terrain Cranes
- Heavy-Lift Cranes

3. Field Service Engineering

- Visit customer/project sites for installation, commissioning, inspection,



troubleshooting and repairs.
- Attend emergency breakdown calls and provide timely technical solutions.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and periodic equipment inspections.
- Coordinate with internal technical teams for complex technical issues.
- Ensure minimum equipment downtime at customer sites.

4. Customer Support

- Act as the technical point of contact for customers.
- Understand customer complaints and provide effective technical solutions.
- Maintain robust customer relationships through timely service support.
- Provide technical guidance regarding equipment operation and maintenance.
- Follow up on pending service issues until closure.

5. Technical & Safety Responsibilities

- Diagnose issues related to hydraulics, engines, transmission, electrical systems, sensors and control systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures during maintenance and field activities.
- Maintain service quality and follow company maintenance/service standards.
- Support root-cause analysis and corrective actions for recurring failures.

Key Requirements:

- 3+ years of relevant experience in crane/heavy equipment service.
- B.E./B.Tech or Diploma qualification.
- Hands-on experience with Crawler Crane / All-Terrain Crane / Truck Crane or similar heavy cranes.
- Strong troubleshooting and maintenance skills.
- Willingness to work extensively as a Field Service Engineer.
- Good customer-handling and communication skills.
