Role Overview

We are looking for experienced Guidewire professionals with strong hands-on expertise in PolicyCenter and/or ClaimCenter to design, develop, configure, integrate, and support enterprise insurance applications.

The candidate should have strong knowledge of the Guidewire InsuranceSuite platform, Gosu, configuration/customization, integrations, data model, business rules, workflows, and insurance domain processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, configure, customize, and develop solutions using Guidewire PolicyCenter and ClaimCenter.

- Work on end-to-end insurance processes across Policy Administration and Claims Management.

- Develop and customize Guidewire applications using Gosu, PCF, Rules, Plugins, Typelists, Entities, and Workflows.

- Configure and enhance PolicyCenter functionality including submissions, quoting, underwriting, policy issuance, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations.

- Configure and enhance ClaimCenter functionality including FNOL, claim setup, exposures, assignments, reserves, payments, activities, investigation, settlement, and closure.

- Develop and maintain integrations between Guidewire and external enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs, messaging, plugins, and web services.

- Work with Guidewire data models, entity extensions, typelists,



and application configuration.

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable Guidewire technical solutions.

- Troubleshoot production issues and provide root-cause analysis and resolution.

- Participate in technical design, code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support.

- Work closely with business analysts, architects, QA teams, integration teams, and client stakeholders.

- Ensure solutions follow Guidewire development and implementation best practices.

Mandatory Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter and/or ClaimCenter.

- Robust Gosu programming experience.

- Experience with Guidewire Studio.

- Good understanding of Guidewire configuration and customization.

- Experience with:

- PCF

- Rules

- Plugins

- Typelists

- Entities

- Workflows

- Data Model

- Batch Processes

- Strong experience in Guidewire integrations.

- Good knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs and web services.

- Strong understanding of P&C; insurance domain.

For the Architect position, the candidate should additionally be able to:

- Define the overall technical architecture for Guidewire implementations.

- Design scalable PolicyCenter/ClaimCenter architecture and integration solutions.

- Lead technical design and architecture discussions with clients.

- Define integration patterns and interfaces with downstream/upstream systems.

- Review data models, application architecture, performance, security, and scalability.

- Provide technical direction to Guidewire development teams.

- Lead complex implementation, upgrade, migration, and integration initiatives.

- Evaluate technical risks and define appropriate
