Required Technical Skills

Backend Development

* Strong hands-on experience with Java 17/21

* Strong experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC and Spring Data JPA

* Experience designing REST APIs and Micro-services

* Good understanding of multithreading, concurrency, JVM fundamentals and exception handling

* Working knowledge of one or more additional backend languages such as java , go-lang

Data & Distributed Systems

* Strong experience with PostgreSQL and/or MySQL

* Strong SQL skills including indexing and query optimisation

* Hands-on experience with Redis

* Experience with Kafka and Event-Driven Architecture

* Understanding of transactions, consistency, idempotency and distributed-system failure scenarios

* Exposure to No SQL and key value databases .

* Exposure to Elastic search/OpenSearch

Security





* Experience with Spring Security

* Good understanding of OAuth 2.0, JWT, authentication and authorisation

* Understanding of API security and secure service-to-service communication

Cloud & DevOps

* Hands-on experience with Docker

* Experience deploying and operating applications on Kubernetes

* Experience with Microsoft Azure

* Experience with Jenkins and/or GitHub Actions

* Strong understanding of Git

* Experience with Maven and/or Gradle

* Experience with ELK or equivalent centralized logging/observability platformsRole & responsibilities
