Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Quality Engineer with 4–6 years of relevant experience in sheet metal, metal fabrication, or manufacturing industries. The candidate will be responsible for incoming, in-process and final quality inspection, dimensional inspection, root-cause analysis, corrective actions and continuous quality improvement.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct Incoming, In-Process and Final Quality Inspection of sheet metal and fabricated components.
- Inspect components as per engineering drawings, specifications, tolerances and customer requirements.
- Read and interpret 2D drawings and GD&T;.
- Perform dimensional inspection using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge,



Gauges and other measuring instruments.
- Monitor quality during:
- Laser / CNC Cutting
- Sheet Metal Bending
- Punching
- Press Brake Operations
- Welding
- Fabrication
- Grinding
- Powder Coating / Painting
- Assembly

- Identify and document quality defects, deviations, rejection and rework.
- Prepare Inspection Reports, NCRs, Quality Reports and other quality documents.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis using 5 Why, Fishbone and other problem-solving techniques.
- Implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Monitor and reduce rejection, rework and scrap.
- Work closely with Production and Engineering teams to resolve shop-floor quality issues.
- Conduct Process Audits and Product Audits.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, Work Instructions, Control Plans and inspection standards.
