1. Conduct supplier process, system, and product audits at supplier locations.
2. Ensure compliance with automotive quality standards such as IATF 16949:2016.
3. Monitor quality of incoming parts and raw materials from suppliers.
4. Coordinate with incoming inspection team to resolve rejection and defect issues
5. Raise Supplier Corrective Action Requests for quality issues.
6. Ensure suppliers perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
7. Track supplier performance based on PPM, delivery performance, and response time.
8. Prepare supplier scorecards and improvement plans for low-performing suppliers
9. Drive Kaizen and cost reduction initiatives with suppliers.
10. Reduce rejection, rework, and warranty issues related to supplier parts
11. Evaluate and develop suppliers to ensure they meet required quality standards.
12. Support suppliers in implementing quality tools like PFMEA, Control Plan and 7QC tools.
