Zoom/Teams Engineer

Migrates and configures voice, video, and messaging platforms (Microsoft Teams, Zoom) for acquired users, ensuring continuity of collaboration and telephony services through cutover.

Reports to: Project Lead / Collaboration Lead

Key Responsibilities

- Configure and migrate Teams/Zoom tenants, including phone system (Teams Phone/Zoom Phone) settings
- Coordinate number porting and voice routing changes with telecom carriers
- Set up calling policies, meeting policies, and device provisioning for end users
- Validate voice, video, and messaging functionality post-cutover
- Support fax and legacy voice service migrations where applicable
- Troubleshoot call quality, device pairing, and integration issues during hypercare

Required Qualifications

- 5+ years administering Microsoft Teams and/or Zoom at an enterprise level, including telephony
- Experience with number porting, SBCs, and voice routing
- Familiarity with meeting room devices and conferencing hardware

Preferred Qualifications

- Microsoft Teams Administrator Associate or Zoom certification
- Experience migrating from legacy PBX/voice systems and cloud fax solutions
