STORE CUM ELECTRICAL OFFICER

We are looking for a responsible and technically skilled Store cum Electrical Officer to manage day-to-day engineering store operations and electrical maintenance activities at the factory. The position will be responsible for inventory control, material receipt and issue, stock verification, electrical troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, documentation, and coordination with Production, Purchase, Accounts and external vendors.
2. Key Responsibilities Store & Inventory

- Manage receipt, inspection, storage and issue of electrical materials, spare parts, consumables, tools and engineering items.
- Verify incoming materials against Purchase Orders, invoices and delivery challans.
- Maintain inward/outward records, GRN, material issue slips, return records and stock registers.
- Ensure proper labeling, binning, identification and protected storage of materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in Excel / ERP / Tally, as applicable.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.
- Monitor minimum/reorder stock levels and coordinate with Purchase for timely replenishment.
- Track material consumption, damaged/obsolete items, returns and scrap.
- Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, Purchase and Accounts for material requirements and reconciliation.
- Maintain good housekeeping, 5S and safety standards in the store.

3. Key Responsibilities Electrical Maintenance

- Carry out preventive, breakdown and routine electrical maintenance of plant and machinery.




- Troubleshoot electrical faults and attend breakdowns to minimize equipment downtime.
- Maintain electrical panels, motors, lighting, wiring, switches, MCBs, MCCBs and related systems.
- Perform basic electrical installation, cable laying, termination and repair work.
- Maintain electrical tools, testing instruments and spare parts in proper condition.
- Coordinate with external electrical contractors/technicians for major repairs and maintenance.
- Maintain records of preventive maintenance, breakdowns, repairs and electrical spare consumption.

4. Documentation & Reporting

- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly store and electrical maintenance reports.
- Maintain records for stock, material movement, preventive maintenance and breakdowns.
- Report critical shortages, stock discrepancies, equipment faults and safety hazards to the reporting manager.

5. Experience

- 35 years of relevant experience in electrical maintenance and/or engineering stores, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience handling electrical spares and industrial maintenance materials will be preferred.

6. Required Skills

- Good knowledge of industrial electrical systems, panels, motors and electrical components.
- Knowledge of engineering/electrical spare parts and inventory control.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel; ERP/Tally knowledge will be an advantage.
- Good troubleshooting, documentation and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to coordinate with vendors and multiple departments.
- Knowledge of industrial electrical safety and 5S practices.
- Valuable communication, discipline and attention to detail.

7. Core Responsibility
Ensure uninterrupted availability and control of electrical/engineering materials while supporting protected, reliable and timely electrical maintenance of the plant.
