Job Title: AutoCAD Designer

Location: Andheri West, Mumbai

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented AutoCAD Draughtsman to join our energetic team. You will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed technical drawings for exhibition stands, interior design projects, and related structures. Your proficiency in AutoCAD and understanding of construction and design principles will be essential to ensure the successful execution of our projects.

Responsibilities:

- Create detailed 2D and 3D AutoCAD drawings for exhibition stalls/booths, interior spaces, custom displays, and other project elements, based on design concepts and specifications provided by designers and project managers.
- Develop accurate floor plans, elevations, sections, details, and construction drawings, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
- Prepare technical drawings for fabrication, installation, and client approvals, including material specifications, dimensions, and annotations.
- Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other team members to clarify design intent, resolve technical issues, and ensure project feasibility.
- Maintain and organise drawing files,



ensuring proper version control and accessibility.
- Conduct site surveys and measurements when necessary to gather accurate information for drawing preparation.
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback from designers, clients, and contractors.
- Stay updated on the latest AutoCAD software features and industry best practices.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of drawing standards and procedures.
- Assist with other related tasks as required by the design or project team.

Qualifications:

- Diploma or degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Proven proficiency in AutoCAD software (2D and/or 3D). Provide portfolio or samples of work.
- Experience as an AutoCAD Draughtsman, preferably in the exhibitions, interior design, or related industry.
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, detailing, and building materials.
- Knowledge of relevant building codes and regulations is a plus.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in other design software (e.g., SketchUp, 3ds Max) is a plus.
