Guidewire PolicyCenter Developer / Technical Lead

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Guidewire PolicyCenter Developer/Technical Lead with robust expertise in Gosu development, PolicyCenter customization, integrations, and team leadership. The candidate will be responsible for designing scalable solutions, leading development teams, and delivering end-to-end Guidewire PolicyCenter implementations and enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and customize Guidewire PolicyCenter using Gosu, PCF, Product Model, Underwriting Rules, and Rating Worksheets.
- Build reusable Gosu classes, enhancements, plugins, and integrations.
- Develop and support SOAP/REST API integrations, messaging components, and batch processes.
- Enhance UI screens, input sets, and workflows based on business requirements.
- Optimize application performance through efficient coding and caching strategies.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers on Guidewire best practices.
- Collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA, and client stakeholders.




- Lead Agile delivery activities including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release management.
- Drive project delivery, risk management, and status reporting.

Must-Have Skills

1. Strong Guidewire PolicyCenter development experience.
2. Hands-on expertise in Gosu programming.
3. Experience with PCF customization, Product Model, Policy Transactions, and Underwriting Rules.
4. Knowledge of SOAP/REST integrations, messaging, and batch processing.
5. Experience leading development teams and conducting code reviews.
6. Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and JIRA.
7. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

- Guidewire PolicyCenter implementation experience.
- Performance tuning and application optimization.
- Insurance domain knowledge (P&C; preferred).
