Role & responsibilities
- Own end-to-end planning, execution and optimisation of paid campaigns across Meta, Google (Search, Shopping, PMax, YouTube, Demand Gen) and programmatic or affiliate partners. Manage marketplace advertising on Amazon, Flipkart and other platforms - sponsored products, brands and display - along with keyword, bid and catalogue-level optimisation.
- Own monthly and quarterly media budgets: allocation across channels, pacing, and delivery of revenue, ROAS, CAC, AOV and contribution-margin targets.
- Build and run a structured testing calendar across audiences, creatives, landing pages, offers and bidding strategies; scale what works and cut what does not.
- Partner with the creative team on briefs and hooks for static, video and UGC assets, using performance data to shape the next round of creative.
- Drive full-funnel improvement with the website and CRO teams - landing pages, PDP experience, checkout drop-offs and retargeting journeys. Maintain robust tracking and attribution: GA4, Meta and Google pixels, server-side events, UTM hygiene and MMP or attribution tooling.
- Build dashboards and publish weekly and monthly performance reviews with clear reads on what moved the number and what happens next.
- Manage agency and platform partners,
including negotiation, SLAs and quarterly reviews.
- Track category, competitor and festive-season trends to plan campaigns for peak events such as BBD, GIF and end-of-season sales.
Preferred candidate profile
- 4-8 years of hands-on performance marketing experience, with at least 2 years managing meaningful monthly media budgets in a D2C, e-commerce or consumer brand.
- Demonstrated command of Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads; marketplace ad experience on Amazon or Flipkart is strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical ability - comfortable in Excel or Google Sheets with pivots and modelling, and able to read GA4, Looker Studio or similar reporting.
- Transparent understanding of unit economics: CAC, ROAS, LTV, blended versus platform-reported metrics, and contribution margin. Working knowledge of tracking and attribution setups, including pixels, conversion APIs and UTM frameworks.
- Creative judgement - able to brief and evaluate ad creative rather than only manage bids.
- Bias for action, comfort with ambiguity and the pace of a high-growth environment. Graduate in any discipline; MBA in Marketing is a plus but not a requirement.
