Technical Skills Required:

1. PLC Programming Proficiency: Strong Knowledge of languages like Ladder Logic, FBD, Structured Text is essential for developing product from Scratch. Experience on Omron PLC (preferred), Mitsubishi, Siemens.

2. HMI Programming: Person should have Development knowledge of HMI.

3. Understanding Electrical Schematics: The ability to interpret and design electrical schematics. Knowledge of EPLAN or any EDA design software is must.

4. Knowledge of Industrial Networks: Familiarity with protocols like Ether CAT, Ethernet/IP, Modbus, ProfiNet and CAN etc. is vital for ensuring seamless communication between devices.

5. Knowledge of Industrial Devices: Valuable knowledge of the Industrial hardware like PLC, Servo Drives, Motion Controllers, Safety PLC and safety sensors etc.

6. Awareness about the industrial standards(electricals)

Responsibilities:

Market Research to find unique solution for given requirement.

- Study Market for the required solution to have a bench marking.
- Prepare documents as an extract of his/her Research.

Preparing Electrical Drawing:

- Engineer needs to draft Electrical Diagram using EPLAN.
- Generating/ Releasing BOM using Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tool.

Logic Development:

- Need to develop PLC code.
- Design HMI.
- Tuning of Motor drivers and configurations.
- Safety Sensors, Safety PLCs & other devices configuration.

Prototype Testing

- Perform the complete functional test as per product functional document & Checksheets.
- Check BOM, Wiring & I/O of product(s)



as per Electrical drawing while product testing.
- Configure individual elements of the product, using standard configurations.
- Maintaining and analysing of system performance data to evaluate efficiency and identify areas for improvement.
- Adhere safety standards and company processes while product testing.

Installation & Commissioning

- Understand product installation and commissioning plan assigned by the reporting manager.
- Validate that product at site is ready for installation and commissioning.
- Installation and commissioning of products as per the function specification document (FSD).
- Be the part of cross functional team (software, IT, project) at site to smoothly execute integral activities
- Ensure installation and commissioning as per schedule.
- Share daily progress report of the site activities to the reporting manager and project site in charge.
- Log the site issues
- Ensure the closing of open issues with the help reporting manager/project site in charge if required
- Adhere safety standards and Addverb/customer processes while product installation and commissioning.

Documentation and Certification

- Prepare and maintain repository of test reports, check sheet for every product as per process.
- Maintain repository of final documents, software backups etc. after testing as per process.
- Participate and execute the compliance requirements for CE/ UL and other regional standards.
- Working with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project deployment within the given timeline.
