Job Overview

Hyundai Motors is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic team in Gurugram. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the operational efficiency, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of various process equipment within our manufacturing facility, with a robust focus on systems involving Siemens PLC. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, a commitment to continuous improvement, and a solid understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, particularly within a paint shop environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Perform troubleshooting and repair of process equipment, including Siemens PLC systems (TIA Portal), SEW Siemens Drives, HHI Durr Robots, PTED Process, and Oven Conveyors.
2. Conduct root cause analysis for recurring equipment issues and implement effective counter-measures to eliminate them.
3. Execute scheduled preventive maintenance activities for all assigned equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
4. Troubleshoot and maintain facility systems such as chillers and paint circulation systems.
5. Manage and maintain inventory of critical equipment spare parts to ensure timely availability.
6. Monitor equipment downtime, identify areas for improvement,



and implement strategies to enhance overall equipment efficiency (OEE).
7. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify and implement solutions for equipment-related challenges.

Educational Qualifications
1. Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (DEEE)

Must-Have Skills
1. Extensive experience with Siemens PLC programming and troubleshooting, specifically TIA Portal.
2. Proficiency in maintaining and troubleshooting SEW Siemens Drives.
3. Experience with HHI Durr Robots and PTED Process equipment.
4. Strong understanding of Oven Conveyor systems and their operation.
5. Proven ability in troubleshooting and repairing complex process equipment.
6. Adequate knowledge in core subject areas: Electrical and Electronics.
7. Demonstrated skills in performing preventive maintenance and root cause analysis.

Good-to-Have Skills
1. Experience in a paint shop environment.
2. Knowledge of facility systems (chillers, paint circulation systems).
3. Familiarity with Mechatronics.
4. Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
