We are urgently looking for an experienced and results-oriented Supply Chain Manager to manage and coordinate our Purchase & Vendor Development, Quality, Assembly, and Stores departments.

Preferred: immediate joiner.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in procurement, inventory management, vendor development, material planning, quality coordination, and team management. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth material flow, timely procurement, effective inventory control, and strong vendor coordination to support production and overall business operations.

The candidate should also have experience managing a team of 20+ employees.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the Purchase, Vendor Development, Quality, Assembly, and Stores departments.
- Plan and control inventory levels to ensure timely material availability while avoiding excess stock.
- Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Quality, and other internal departments to understand material requirements and procurement priorities.
- Handle purchase planning, vendor identification and selection, quotation comparison, negotiation, purchase orders, and procurement follow-ups.
- Develop new vendors and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers.
- Monitor and evaluate vendor performance based on Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Service.
- Ensure timely receipt, inspection, storage, and issue of materials as per company procedures.
- Maintain proper documentation related to purchase orders, GRNs, stock records, vendor records, inventory reports, and other supply chain activities.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction,



process improvement, and supply chain efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, statutory requirements, and audit procedures.
- Prepare and review regular MIS reports related to inventory, purchases, vendor performance, shortages, and pending materials.
- Resolve issues related to delayed deliveries, material shortages, quality concerns, supplier disputes, and procurement bottlenecks.
- Lead, guide, and develop departmental teams to achieve operational and organizational objectives.

Required Skills & Experience

- Strong knowledge of Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Stores, Inventory Control, and Vendor Management.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage and lead cross-functional teams.
- Good understanding of inventory planning, material requirement planning, and stock control.
- Strong documentation, MIS, and reporting skills.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Experience working with ERP / Inventory Management Software will be preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a rapid-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualification

- Mandatory Bachelor's degree / Engineering qualification in Electronics, Mechanical, Instrumentation, or a related discipline.
- Relevant experience in Supply Chain, Purchase, Stores, Vendor Development, Procurement, or Material Management is required.
