Job Summary

We are looking for a Product Design Engineer to drive recent product development and innovation. The role involves managing the product development lifecycle, working on product design and development, coordinating with cross-functional teams and vendors, and ensuring products are developed as per quality, cost, and timeline requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Drive new product development (NPD) and product improvement initiatives.
- Develop and execute strategies for new projects and product development aligned with business objectives.
- Identify market and customer requirements and translate them into product development opportunities.
- Create, modify, and develop product designs using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- Collaborate with R&D;, Manufacturing, Marketing, and other internal teams for successful product development.
- Coordinate with suppliers and external business partners for product development and execution.
- Evaluate materials, manufacturing methods, product feasibility, cost, and quality requirements.
- Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective execution.




- Monitor project risks and take appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
- Support product innovation, product portfolio development, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure products meet required quality, technical, cost, and delivery standards.

Key Skills & Competencies

- Strong knowledge of Product Design and New Product Development (NPD)
- Hands-on experience in AutoCAD and SolidWorks
- Good understanding of materials and manufacturing processes
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and cross-functional coordination skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work with internal and external stakeholders
- Innovation-oriented approach with a focus on product improvement

Candidate Profile

- B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline.
- 3-7 years of relevant experience in Product Design, Product Development, Mechanical Design, or NPD.
- Candidates with hands-on experience in designing and developing physical/mechanical products will be preferred.
