Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically proficient Senior NOC Lead to join the SRE team. This role is critical to ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of our cloud infrastructure. You will monitor cloud-based systems, respond to incidents, and collaborate with engineering teams to maintain high availability across our global cloud platform. Additionally, you will help develop a vision for the NOC team and guide activities to deliver on that vision.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead a highly technical 24/7 NOC / SRE team.
- Communication responsibilities between contract company and client as well as all members of the team.
- Technical mentorship to team (must be technical)
- Monitor GCP cloud infrastructure across multiple regions using advanced observability tools and be expected to find gaps in coverage and implement changes to cover those gaps.
- Respond to alerts and incidents in real-time, supply supporting data for root cause analysis, and escalate incidents when necessary. Additionally, the ideal candidate will be able to investigate logs, APM traces and monitors to assess tangential impact and provide additional details/forensics during an incident.
- Troubleshoot issues related to cloud networking, containers, storage, and APIs.
- Develop, maintain and improve trouble-shooting guides (TSGs), incident response procedures, and operational documentation.




- Provide leadership and mentorship to NOC engineers.
- Collaborate with SRE, and Cloud Engineering and development teams to resolve complex infrastructure issues.
- Perform routine health checks across the GCP cloud environment.
- Monitor spend of observability platform and make suggestions for changes where appropriate.
- Perform routine patching and upgrades of observability agents across the platform.
- Check-in changes to source repository.
- Ensure compliance with SLAs, security policies, and operational standards.
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation and support disaster recovery and business continuity efforts.
- Analyze performance metrics and provide recommendations for optimization and automation.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in a Development, NOC or cloud infrastructure role.
- Experience leading a distributed highly technical team.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and services.
- Familiarity with container orchestration (Kubernetes, GKE) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Datadog, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch, Splunk, Sumologic, NewRelic, etc).
- Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments.
- Basic scripting or automation skills (Python, Bash,



PowerShell, Terraform).
- Excellent communication, documentation, and incident management skills.

Preferred Certifications:

- AWS Certified SysOps Administrator or Solutions Architect
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
- Google Cloud Associate Cloud Engineer
- CompTIA Cloud+ or equivalent

Work Environment:
