Role & responsibilities

- Machine Operation: Setup, load, and operate CNC turning/milling machines for production tasks.
- Component Inspection: Inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments (vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, dial indicators, bore gauges) to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Drawing Reading: Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, process sheets, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T;) notes.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks on first-piece and production runs, maintaining strict tolerance limits.
- Troubleshooting: Identify operational issues, tool wear, or minor mechanical faults during machining and make necessary adjustments (offsets, speed, feed).
- Maintenance & Cleanliness: Perform daily basic maintenance (coolant levels, lubrication, chip removal) and adhere to 5S practices on the shop floor.
- Material Management:



Safely load and unload raw materials and finished parts manually or using overhead cranes/hoists.
- Documentation: Maintain daily production logs, inspection reports, and job cards accurately.

Preferred candidate profile

- Education: ITI in Turner / Fitter / Machinist / Tool & Die OR Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Production Engineering. B.E. Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in CNC turning, CNC milling, or VMC operating within a precision manufacturing or automotive component industry.
