Job Profile

- Undertake hydrological/hydrogeological modelling using relevant modelling platform for water availability assessment and planning. rn- Undertake projects related to the design including DPR and implementation of water conservation, watershed management, groundwater recharge, and water resource management interventions.rn- Undertake assessments covering policy, regulatory, institutional, and economic aspects in relevant water and environmental sectors.rn- Undertake field surveys, site investigations, data collection, and technical assessments at project locations.rn- Undertake spatial analysis and modelling using GIS and Remote sensing tools.rn- Apply statistical and analytical method to interpret hydrological, hydrogeological and meteorological datasets. rn- Write high-quality technical proposals, reports, publications, presentations, and knowledge products in relevant areas.rn- Support project planning, execution, monitoring and delivery, including preparation and submission of technical and financial reports.rn- Contribute to research, innovation, knowledge dissemination, and capacity-building activities related to water resources and watershed management.rn- Work independently as well as collaboratively across multidisciplinary research team and, where required, lead field-based activities.rnrnGeneral responsibilities:



rn- Assist in planning and conducting project meetings, stakeholder consultations workshops, etc.rn- Assist in building relationships with a wider community of industry and government stakeholders in the water domain.

Qualification

Education rnM.Sc./ M. Tech. in Civil Engineering- Water Resources Engineering- Hydrology/Hydrogeology or a related discipline with more than 4 years working experience in integrated water resources management- design and implementation of watershed interventions- groundwater management- hydrological assessments etc.rnOr-rnPh.D. in Civil Engineering- Water Resources Engineering- Hydrology/Hydrogeology- or a related discipline with more than 2 years working experience in integrated water resources management- design and implementation of watershed interventions- groundwater management- hydrological assessments etc.

Skills

MS Office- GIS- Hydrological /Hydrogeological Models (HEC-HMS SWAT- Modflow etc.)
