Detailed Job Description:

- We are seeking an experienced Head of Land Acquisition tolead and oversee all land acquisition activities across Bangalore, Mysore, and Mumbai.
- The successful candidate will drive strategic acquisition initiatives,manage stakeholder relationships, ensure compliance with land laws, andleverage analytics and market research to support decision-making.
- This rolerequires a seasoned skilled with a deep understanding of land acquisitionprocesses, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to lead cross-functionalteams.

Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the end-to-end land acquisition process for multiple projects across the three cities
- Develop and execute acquisition strategies that align with corporate objectives and local regulations
- Negotiate purchase agreements, easements, and other land-related contracts with owners, developers, and government authorities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including local government officials, community leaders, and private partners
- Ensure all acquisition activities comply with applicable land laws, zoning regulations, and environmental guidelines
- Utilize analytics and market research to assess land values,



identify acquisition opportunities, and mitigate risks
- Prepare and present detailed acquisition reports, financial models, and market insights to senior leadership
- Collaborate with legal, finance, and project teams to secure necessary approvals and funding
- Mentor and develop a high-performing acquisition team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth

Requirements

- 12 to 20 years of progressive experience in land acquisition, real estate development, or related fields
- Proven track record of successfully negotiating and closing large-scale land deals
- In-depth knowledge of land laws, zoning regulations, and environmental compliance in India
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and financial models
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, capable of influencing at all levels
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for documentation, analysis, and presentations
- Demonstrated leadership ability and experience managing cross-functional teams
- Bachelor s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, Law, or Business)
