- Job Description: Product Owner Client Onboarding (Payments Enablement | BFS)

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Product Owner with deep expertise in Client Onboarding within Banking & Financial Services (BFS), specifically focused on enabling payment products during onboarding for Commercial Banking, Business Banking, and Wealth Management clients. This role will lead the design and execution of end-to-end onboarding journeys, ensuring seamless setup, configuration, and activation of payment capabilities as part of the client onboarding lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

- Own the product backlog and roadmap for digital client onboarding platforms
- Lead onboarding workflows including KYC/AML, account setup, and entitlements
- Drive payment product enablement during onboarding (ACH, wires, RTP, treasury services)
- Improve STP, reduce NIGO, and accelerate time-to-revenue
- Collaborate with stakeholders across business, operations, compliance, and technology
- Lead Agile ceremonies and define user stories and acceptance criteria

Client Onboarding & Payment Enablement





- Design onboarding journeys for commercial, business banking, and wealth clients
- Enable setup and activation of payment products as part of onboarding
- Ensure seamless product configuration including limits, approvals, and entitlements

Regulatory & Compliance

- Ensure compliance with KYC, AML, and sanctions screening requirements
- Embed risk and audit controls into onboarding workflows

Required Experience

- 7+ years in BFS domain
- Solid experience in client onboarding
- Experience in payment product setup during onboarding
- Exposure to commercial, business banking, or wealth segments

Skills

- Strong domain knowledge in onboarding and payments
- Stakeholder management and communication
- Agile product ownership
- Process optimization and digital transformation
