The role holder will serve as the Central Employee Engagement Lead, responsible for designing and driving engagement programes across Pan-India locations. The role will coordinate with regional and location teams to ensure consistent execution of Employee Engagement Framework and strengthen employee morale, recognition, inclusion, retention, and the overall workplace experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Employee Engagement Programme Management
- Conceptualise and implement engagement programmes aligned with the BDO India Employee Engagement Framework.
- Design inclusive interventions tailored to regional, Service Line, and employee-segment needs.
- Lead the end-to-end management of employee engagement surveys, including vendor coordination, administration, communication, participation coverage, analysis, and reporting.
- Partner with key stakeholders to translate survey insights into structured and measurable action plans.
2. Recognition Programmes
- Manage Pan-India employee recognition programmes in line with BDO Indias recognition philosophy and framework.
- Establish consistent processes, guidelines, governance, and communication across locations and Service Lines.
- Strengthen the culture of appreciation through formal and informal recognition initiatives.
- Track programme participation, coverage, effectiveness, and employee feedback.
3. Programme Governance, Analytics and Reporting
- Establish governance mechanisms, annual programme calendars, trackers, and review processes for Pan-India engagement initiatives.
- Track and analyse key metrics, including participation, coverage, feedback, programme effectiveness, and location-wise implementation.
- Develop consolidated dashboards and reports highlighting progress, impact, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Present insights and recommendations to leadership and other key stakeholders in a explicit and actionable manner.
4. Budget Management
- Plan and manage the employee engagement budget, ensuring effective allocation and utilisation of resources.
- Track programme expenditure and identify cost-effective approaches to deliver high-impact initiatives.
5. Vendor and Stakeholder Management
- Identify, engage, and manage vendors, consultants, and subject matter experts to deliver high-quality engagement programmes.
- Evaluate vendor performance and maintain effective working relationships.
- Collaborate with HR Partners, business leaders, and functional teams to ensure engagement strategies are business-relevant and consistently implemented.
- Serve as the central point of contact for employee engagement across Pan-India locations.
6. Communications and Branding
- Develop and manage the communication strategy and engagement calendar for Pan-India employee engagement initiatives.
- Create and design engagement collaterals, including flyers, emailers, banners, posters, presentations, toolkits, and leadership decks.
- Drive awareness and participation through effective communication campaigns and storytelling
