Core Responsibilities

- Infrastructure Management: Install and configure AutoSys components including Application Servers (AE), Web Interface (WCC), Enterprise Event Manager (EEM), Control M and Remote Agents across Windows, Linux, and Unix platforms.
- Job Scheduling & Design: Develop and maintain automated job schedules using Job Information Language (JIL) scripting. This includes creating box jobs, file watchers, and complex dependencies to automate business processes.
- Production Support: Monitor production environments, perform root cause analysis (RCA) for failed jobs, and resolve ABEND (abnormal end)



errors to minimize business downtime.
- Calendar Maintenance & Optimization:
- Manage Standard & Extended Calendars: Define and update standard calendars for fixed dates and extended calendars for complex, rule-based scheduling logic.
- Maintenance & Upgrades: Apply vendor-recommended patches, perform database maintenance on the Event Server, and lead version migrations (e.g., from V12.x to v24.x).
- Access & Security: Manage user access control policies within EEM and ensure compliance with ITIL processes like Change and Incident Management.

Key Skills & Qualifications

- Technical Proficiency: Expert knowledge of AutoSys Architecture and command-line utilities like autorep, jil, sendevent, and autostatus.
- Scripting: Robust hands-on experience in Shell (Korn/Bash), Perl, or Python for automating administrative tasks.
- Operating Systems: Deep understanding of Unix/Linux and Windows server environments.
- Databases: Familiarity with Oracle or SQL Server for backend job auditing and monitoring.
