About the role:

We are looking for a senior backend developer to work on the new and further development of our cloud-ready central gaming systems the real-time core that our gaming products run on. You will contribute to architecture and design, implement and test in an agile environment, and help evolve the platform toward its cloud-ready future. Central gaming systems demand real-time performance, high reliability, and careful handling of sensitive data — you will bring strong programming fundamentals in a systems language such as Java, C/C++, or Rust.

Tasks & responsibilities

- New and further development of our cloud-ready central gaming systems.
- Architecture and design, implementation, and testing in an agile environment.

Core Tech stack:

- Core languages: C/C++, Java, Scripting language like Perl/ Python
- DB: PostgreSQL / Oracle
- Others: GitLab, Maven, Containers, REST/JSON

Your profile

- Technically educated IT professional.




- Excellent knowledge in at least one programming language used in real-time applications, such as Java, C/C++, or Rust.
- Valuable knowledge in using and designing web interfaces (REST, JSON, ).
- Experience with scripting languages such as Perl and Python.
- Experience with databases and SQL (PostgreSQL / Oracle).
- Experience using GitLab, Maven, and container build environments.
- Skilled programmer, able to work with sensitive data responsibly.
- Self-organized, but also a good team player.
- Language skills: English (German an added advantage )

What sets you apart

- Experience building or operating cloud-native backend services (Kubernetes, cloud platforms).
- Background in gaming, lottery, betting, or other regulated, high-reliability domains.
- Experience with distributed systems, messaging, or high-throughput transaction processing.
