Key Responsibilities

- Handle end-to-end procurement of direct and indirect materials for alternator manufacturing.
- Identify, evaluate and develop new vendors based on quality, cost and delivery.
- Negotiate price, payment terms, MOQ and delivery schedules with suppliers.
- Coordinate with PPC, Production, Quality, Stores, Engineering and NPD teams for material requirements.
- Ensure timely material availability and prevent production shortages.
- Handle RFQ, quotation comparison, purchase orders and supplier follow-up.
- Support recent product development, sample procurement and supplier development activities.
- Monitor supplier performance, delivery and quality issues.
- Drive cost reduction and value improvement initiatives.
- Prepare purchase-related MIS and management reports.

Preferred Experience

- Experience in automotive / auto-component / alternator / electrical component manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience in Tally ERP, MS Excel and ERP-based procurement systems.
- Knowledge of PPAP/APQP and supplier quality processes will be an advantage.
