Role & responsibilities

Responsible for managing and maintaining Apache Cassandra databases and clusters, including:

- Cassandra installation, configuration, and upgrades
- Database monitoring and performance tuning
- Backup, recovery, and disaster recovery
- Cluster scaling, node management, and repairs
- Troubleshooting database and production issues
- Managing replication, consistency, and data availability
- Security and access management
- Linux, CQL, and scripting
- Working with development and infrastructure teams to ensure database reliability and high availability
