The TRD Studios Management Fellowship is a 12-month, stipend-led program designed to empower emerging stars in the venture capital (VC), private equity (PE), and entrepreneurial ecosystem. Program Overview

- Duration : 12 months
- Location : Hyderabad (Work from Office - 5 days a week)
- Cycle :
- Cycle 1 : Starts in the first cycle
- Cycle 2 : Starts in the second cycle

- Structure : Hands-on learning, structured mentorship, and direct exposure to VC functions across key sectors.

Key Responsibilities

1. Buy-Side Sectoral Research

- Conduct primary and secondary market research on technology innovations across sectors aligned with TRD Studios investment thesis.
- Attend industry events to analyze trends, identify growth opportunities, and establish partnerships.
- Create an Annual Buy-Side Sectoral Research Report highlighting actionable insights.

2. Community Building

- Build and nurture a community of stakeholders, including incubators, accelerators, funds, regulators, institutions, and investors.
- Create platforms for startup founders to pitch solutions and proactively discover deals.




- Collaborate with sector-specific curators to shape investment roadmaps.

3. Deal Discovery and Evaluation

- Partner with leading institutions like IITM, IIITH, and IIMB to source innovative startups.
- Screen, filter, and interact with founders to evaluate their solutions.
- Collaborate with curators to align investments with fund objectives.

4. Investment Management and Deal Execution

- Conduct in-depth investment analysis, including product features, market size, and business projections.
- Prepare Investment Memos (IM) for the Investment Committee, ensuring they highlight critical factors for decision-making.
- Support financial, technical, and legal due diligence.

5. Portfolio Management and Scaling

- Work closely with portfolio founders to create and execute Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies .
- Monitor performance metrics and benchmark operational and valuation metrics against industry standards.
- Develop outreach materials to engage clients, partners, and investors.

6. Sell-Side Sectoral Research and Exits

- Lead sell-side research to identify exit opportunities for portfolio companies.
- Build relationships with corporate development teams, private equity players, and institutional investors.
- Develop strategies to prepare portfolio companies for acquisition or IPO readiness.

7. Institutional Partnerships and Brand Building

- Strengthen relationships with TRD Studios partners, including incubators, accelerators,



and technology providers.
- Support marketing and communication strategies to enhance brand recall and engagement.
- Facilitate partnership outreach for portfolio companies, ensuring alignment with TRD Studios long-term vision.

- Proficient in project management, prioritization, and multitasking.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.

- Mindset : Passionate about technology and its impact on markets and economies.
- Location : Based in Hyderabad or willing to relocate.

Program Structure

The Fellowship is a 12-month lock-in program, combining hands-on experience with structured mentorship.

Participants will receive extensive support post-program, with opportunities to join TRD Studios or its associated firms in a full-time capacity.
