About Position:

We are seeking a skilled IBM ISIM Consultant to join our Identity and Access Management (IAM) team. The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on experience with IBM Security Identity Manager (ISIM) and related IAM technologies. This role is responsible for implementing, supporting, and enhancing identity lifecycle management processes, ensuring secure access provisioning, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency across enterprise environments.

What You'll Do:

- Administer, support, and maintain IBM Security Identity Manager (ISIM) infrastructure and related IAM solutions.
- Implement and manage identity lifecycle processes including onboarding, role changes, access requests, certifications, and offboarding.
- Configure and customize ISIM workflows, provisioning policies, approval processes, forms, and access control mechanisms.
- Develop and maintain provisioning workflows and identity management solutions.
- Integrate IBM ISIM with enterprise applications, Active Directory, LDAP directories, databases, and third-party systems.
- Configure and support adapters, connectors, APIs, and automated provisioning processes.
- Develop and maintain custom Java components, scripts, and extension frameworks within ISIM.
- Troubleshoot and resolve provisioning failures, workflow issues, connector problems, and access management challenges.
- Perform root cause analysis for identity management incidents and implement permanent solutions.
- Support platform upgrades, patching activities, migrations, and environment maintenance.
- Build and maintain development, testing, and lab environments for validation and troubleshooting.
- Ensure compliance with security standards, governance requirements, and audit controls.
- Monitor platform performance, system health, and provisioning activities.
- Support SSL certificate management and secure communication configurations.




- Configure and manage database connectivity and data sources within WebSphere environments.
- Analyze system logs using Splunk and other monitoring tools to identify and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with security, infrastructure, application, and business teams to implement IAM initiatives.
- Provide production support and participate in on-call or 24x7 support activities as required.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge base articles.

Expertise You'll Bring:

- 5 to 8 years of experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions.
- Solid hands-on experience with IBM Security Identity Manager (ISIM).
- Experience working with IBM Security Identity Governance and Administration solutions.
- Strong understanding of identity lifecycle management, provisioning, de-provisioning, and access governance processes.
- Experience configuring ISIM workflows, provisioning policies, forms, and approval mechanisms.
- Knowledge of IAM concepts including RBAC, segregation of duties, access reviews, and compliance controls.
- Experience integrating ISIM with Active Directory, LDAP, databases, and enterprise applications.
- Strong knowledge of IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS) and Liberty Profile.
- Experience with database platforms such as DB2 and Oracle.
- Knowledge of Windows and WebSphere system administration.
- Proficiency in Java-based customization, scripting, and extension development.
- Experience configuring SSL certificates, application security, and secure communication protocols.
- Familiarity with Splunk and log analysis for troubleshooting and monitoring.




- Experience working with Windows and Linux operating systems and log analysis.
- Knowledge of database source configuration and management within WebSphere environments.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing application deployments, upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of security policies, audit requirements, and compliance frameworks.
