Role & responsibilities

1 Quality Control Chemist Resins

- Test raw materials, in-process batches, and finished resins against approved specs
- Perform acid value, viscosity, colour (Gardner/APHA), softening point, NVC, and moisture testing
- Operate/maintain lab instruments viscometer, colorimeter, Karl Fischer titrator, melting point apparatus, GC
- Maintain LIMS/logbook records, flag OOS results, assist with CoA preparation

- Qualification: B.Sc./M.Sc. Chemistry or Diploma in Chemical/Polymer/Paint Tech

- Experience: 13 years in resin/ink/paint/adhesive QC (freshers with solid academics considered)

2 R&D; Chemist Resins

- Lab-scale synthesis of alkyd, polyester, epoxy, rosin-modified, phenolic & acrylic resins
- Application testing in inks/coatings/adhesives drying time, gloss, adhesion, flexibility, chemical resistance
- Characterise resins for acid value, hydroxyl value, viscosity, colour, solids content
- Support scale-up trials, raw-material screening,



cost optimisation, and technical complaint investigations

- Qualification: Bsc. Or M.Sc. Chemistry (Organic/Polymer) or B.Tech Polymer/Paint/Chemical Tech

- Experience: 14 years in resin/polymer R&D; or synthesis (freshers with strong fundamentals considered)

3 Production Operator Resin Manufacturing

- Operate resin reactors and process equipment as per SOPs and batch cooking instructions
- Charge raw materials, monitor reaction parameters (temperature, pressure, time) during batch runs
- Coordinate with QC for in-process sampling and clearance at each stage
- Maintain batch records, logsheets, and material consumption data
- Follow safety protocols, PPE usage, and good housekeeping in the plant
- Support loading/unloading, filtration, and packing operations as required

- Qualification: ITI/Diploma in Chemical Engineering or equivalent plant experience

- Experience: 1–5 years in a chemical/resin/paint/ink manufacturing plant; willing to work rotational shifts
