Role & responsibilities

- Lead Finance, Accounts, Taxation, Treasury, MIS and financial reporting across group entities.
- Oversee group consolidation, budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and management reporting.
- Must have robust expertise in Value Investing.
- Evaluate investment opportunities through analysis of business performance, financial statements, valuations, cash flows, returns and risks.
- Drive portfolio monitoring and long-term capital allocation, including efficient deployment of surplus funds and liquidity management.
- Support M&A;, business restructuring, valuations and other strategic transactions.
- Ensure compliance with applicable statutory, tax, regulatory and corporate governance requirements.
- Provide timely financial, investment and strategic insights to the Promoters and Board.
- Manage relationships with auditors, bankers, tax and legal advisors and other professional stakeholders.
- Lead and develop finance and investment teams while ensuring high standards of integrity, confidentiality, accountability and professional judgement.

Preferred candidate profile





- Must be a Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) and preferably Company Secretary (CS).
- Strong experience across finance, accounting, taxation, treasury, financial reporting and investments.
- Prior experience with investment companies, holding companies, family offices or promoter-led business groups.
- Proven understanding of value investing, investment analysis, valuation and long-term capital allocation.
- Experience in M&A;, restructuring, group consolidation and strategic transactions.
- Strong analytical, commercial, communication and stakeholder-management capabilities.
- Comfortable working independently and partnering closely with Promoters, Board members and senior management.
- High degree of integrity, discretion, ownership and sound professional judgement.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
