Key Responsibilities

Platform Architecture

- Own the overall technical architecture and evolution of the Csmart platform.
- Define architecture principles, standards, patterns, and technology direction.
- Design scalable, highly available, resilient, and secure enterprise applications.
- Drive modernization of legacy components and migration toward modern cloud-native architecture.
- Ensure clear separation of business, domain, integration, and infrastructure concerns.
- Review and approve major architectural changes and technical designs.

Product & Domain Architecture

- Understand Telecom/Satellite CRM, BSS, OSS, billing, provisioning, customer, product, order, asset, and service domains.
- Translate business and product requirements into scalable technical architecture.
- Define reusable and configurable product capabilities that support multiple customers while minimizing customer-specific customization.
- Align Csmart architecture evolution with the product roadmap and strategic business objectives.
- Define architecture patterns that support product configurability and extensibility without creating product forks.
- Drive TM Forum-aligned API and domain architecture where applicable.
- Identify opportunities for platform standardization and productization.

PHP & Laravel Architecture

- Provide strong technical leadership in PHP and Laravel.
- Define Laravel application architecture, service boundaries, reusable components, and coding standards.
- Guide teams on Laravel service containers, queues, jobs, events, caching, authentication, authorization, and application lifecycle.
- Review complex Laravel implementations and identify architectural, scalability, and maintainability risks.
- Establish standards for performance, security, testing, and code quality.
- Drive modernization and reduction of technical debt within the Laravel platform.

Integration Architecture

- Define integration patterns between Csmart and external systems such as:
- Billing platforms
- Provisioning systems
- ERP/enterprise systems
- Payment systems
- Identity platforms
- Data platforms
- External partner systems





- Establish standards for REST APIs, asynchronous integration, events, webhooks, batch interfaces, and data synchronization.
- Ensure integrations are secure, observable, resilient, and backward compatible.
- Define clear architectural boundaries between Csmart, iPaaS, and external systems, ensuring business capabilities remain within Csmart while integration and orchestration are handled by iPaaS.

Scalability & Performance

- Design for high-volume transactional workloads and large datasets.
- Identify application, database, caching, messaging, and infrastructure bottlenecks.
- Define performance engineering and capacity planning strategies.
- Drive database optimization, indexing, caching, connection management, and asynchronous processing.
- Design systems capable of supporting multiple customers and large-scale deployments.

Cloud & Infrastructure

- Define cloud and hybrid-cloud architecture.
- Work with Kubernetes, containers, load balancers, API gateways, caching, messaging, and cloud services.
- Define high availability, disaster recovery, backup, scalability, and resilience strategies.
- Establish infrastructure requirements for production deployments.

Security

- Embed security into application and platform architecture.
- Drive Zero Trust, IAM/RBAC, SSO, OAuth2/OIDC, API security, encryption, secrets management, and auditability.
- Review security architecture and threat models.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise security requirements.

Observability & Reliability

- Establish platform-wide observability standards.
- Drive implementation of metrics, logs, traces, alerts, dashboards, and health checks.
- Define SLI/SLO and reliability practices.




- Ensure production issues can be diagnosed across application, database, integration, and infrastructure layers.

Technical Leadership

- Mentor architects, technical leads, and senior engineers.
- Conduct architecture reviews and design walkthroughs.
- Establish engineering standards and reusable patterns.
- Support teams in resolving complex technical issues.
- Participate in customer architecture discussions and translate recurring customer requirements into reusable Csmart product capabilities.

Required Skills

- 12+ years of software engineering / architecture experience.
- Robust experience in enterprise application architecture.
- Strong hands-on experience with PHP and Laravel.
- Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript and at least one modern JavaScript framework such as React, Vue.js, Angular, or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs, API gateways, OAuth2/OIDC, and distributed systems.
- Strong database experience with MySQL and Oracle.
- Experience with Redis for caching, session management, distributed locking, and performance optimization.
- Experience with RabbitMQ and Kafka or equivalent messaging/event platforms.
- Experience with Supervisor for application and background-worker process management.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as OCI, AWS, or Azure.
- Robust understanding of high availability, scalability, resilience, and disaster recovery.
- Experience with observability technologies such as OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and Tempo/Jaeger.
- Strong understanding of DevSecOps and CI/CD.
- Experience designing secure enterprise platforms.
- Strong architectural documentation and communication skills.
