About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Client Accountant to manage accounting and tax requirements for a portfolio of clients. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent English communication skills and the ability to independently manage client relationships.

Requirements

- CA or ACCA qualified
- 5–10 years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of UK accounting and taxation would be an advantage
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Strong client communication and relationship-management skills
- Positive understanding of accounting software and Excel
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of client portfolios

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting for a portfolio of clients




- Prepare and review monthly management accounts
- Handle VAT, Corporation Tax and other accounting compliance requirements
- Review bookkeeping, reconciliations and financial records
- Communicate directly with clients and resolve accounting queries
- Provide clients with practical accounting and tax guidance
- Monitor deadlines and ensure timely completion of client work
- Identify opportunities to improve client processes and accounting systems
- Coordinate with internal team members to ensure smooth service delivery
- Build strong, professional and long-term client relationships

What We’re Looking For Someone who can take ownership of client accounts, communicate confidently with clients, and deliver accurate and timely accounting support with minimal supervision.
