Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive finance professional to manage the organisations end-to-end accounting, compliance, and financial reporting functions. This is a hands-on role that sits at the intersection of day-to-day financial operations and strategic financial management, including oversight of complex statutory and regulatory compliance across multiple legal entities.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting and Financial Operations

- Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping
- Prepare and present monthly MIS reports
- Handle vendor payments, reimbursements, billing, and collections
- Manage banking relationships and fund flows
- Administer payroll and manage employee insurance

Statutory and Regulatory Compliance

- Ensure timely filing of TDS, GST, PF, PT, Gratuity, income tax returns, and MCA annual returns
- Manage compliances specific to CSR, Foundations, Trusts, FDI, and FCRA
- Coordinate statutory and tax audits end-to-end

Financial Planning and Control

- Lead annual budget forecasting and monitor cost control




- Support ESOP administration
- Review contracts from a financial and risk lens

Governance and Secretarial Support

- Support Board meetings and AGMs, including preparation of relevant financial documents and minutes coordination

Candidate Profile

- 7-8 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, preferably within the development, non-profit, or impact investment sector
- Solid command of Indian statutory and regulatory frameworks - GST, TDS, income tax, MCA, FCRA, and Trust/Foundation compliances
- Hands-on experience with audit management (statutory and tax)
- Familiarity with ESOP accounting is an advantage
- CA or equivalent qualification preferred; MBA Finance considered
- High attention to detail, ability to manage multiple compliance timelines, and comfort working in a lean team environment
