Role Overview

The Operations cum Sales Manager will oversee Delhi logistics operations while driving new business opportunities and revenue growth.
The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of the logistics and delivery ecosystem, excellent understanding of Delhi and nearby markets, and the ability to take ownership in a fast-paced, technology-driven startup.
This role involves working closely with customers, delivery teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management

- Manage daily logistics and delivery operations for the Delhi region, ensuring 95%+ on-time delivery.

- Plan and execute deliveries while optimizing cost, TAT, productivity, and fleet utilization.

- Monitor key KPIs including OTD, delivery success rate, productivity, TAT, and service levels.

- Manage delivery executives, fleet partners, vendors, and operational stakeholders.

- Source and onboard vehicles through referred and dry vehicle/vendor channels to meet capacity requirements.

- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve efficiency and service quality.

- Handle escalations and ensure timely resolution while maintaining customer satisfaction.

- Track performance through operational dashboards and drive data-led process improvements.

Sales & Business Development

- Identify and develop new business opportunities across Delhi & NCR.

- Generate leads through market mapping, networking, referrals, and local partnerships.





- Understand customer logistics needs and propose suitable solutions.

- Manage the end-to-end sales cycle from lead generation to negotiation and closure.

- Build and maintain strong client relationships.

- Coordinate with operations for smooth account onboarding and execution.

- Track sales pipeline, revenue, conversions, and business development KPIs.

Delhi Market Knowledge

- Develop and maintain strong knowledge of the Delhi/NCR market, geography, routes, commercial hubs, industrial areas, and key business clusters.
- Understand local logistics challenges, delivery patterns, customer expectations, and competitive dynamics.
- Leverage strong local market knowledge to identify business opportunities and improve operational efficiency.

What Were Looking For

- 37 years of relevant experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, last-mile delivery, fleet operations, or a related industry.
- Prior experience managing logistics operations along with sales/business development will be preferred.
- Strong understanding of logistics operations and last-mile delivery.
- Excellent knowledge of Delhi and NCR is highly desirable.
- Strong local network and understanding of the Delhi business ecosystem will be an added advantage.
