Role & responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy department to ensure productive and accurate dispensing of medications.

• Provide expert guidance and support to junior pharmacists and pharmacy staff, fostering a collaborative and knowledgeable team environment.

• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards related to pharmacy operations.

• Develop and implement protocols to enhance medication safety and quality of care provided to patients.

• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient medication therapy and promote effective treatment outcomes.

• Manage inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and ensure the availability of essential medications.

• Address and resolve any issues related to medication orders, prescriptions, and patient inquiries promptly and professionally.

• Participate in the development and execution of continuous quality improvement initiatives within the pharmacy department.

• Stay updated with the latest advancements in pharmaceutical care and incorporate best practices into daily operations.
