- To ensure that production lines, plant equipments are maintained in good working condition
- Planning of maintenance job Daily / Monthly / yearly
- Preventive Maintenance Activities
- Spare Parts Management
- Installation and commissioning of recent equipments
- Utility maintenance
- Statutory compliance as per GPCB, UGVCL, Factory act, Safety standards
- Data analysis like break down analysis, machine uptime, energy conservation analysis, etc
- Attending to the safety requirements of the plant
- Energy conservation
- TPM - PM Pillar
- Reviewing the performance of subordinates and identifying their training needs
- Support operators and ME dept to implementation of Kaizen
- Support and implement safety and environment related projects

- Reduce MTTR
- increase MTBF
- Control repair ,maintenance cost
- Increase equipment uptime
- Timely execution of project
- To reduce number of near-miss first aid accident
