Job Summary

We are looking for a versatile Civil Engineer who can handle a combination of civil engineering activities, civil finishing sales, and civil drawing/drafting work. The candidate will be responsible for understanding project requirements, preparing and reviewing civil drawings, coordinating site activities, supporting finishing material/product sales, preparing quotations, and ensuring proper execution as per drawings and specifications.

The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of civil construction and finishing works, positive AutoCAD skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, contractors, architects, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Civil Engineering & Site Work

Supervise and coordinate civil construction and finishing activities at project sites.

Check site measurements, quantities, levels, dimensions, and execution quality.

Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, architects, consultants, and project teams.

Ensure work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.

Monitor work progress and identify technical or execution-related issues.

Prepare and maintain site reports, measurements, BOQs, material requirements, and progress updates.

Support estimation and costing for civil and finishing works.

Ensure proper use of materials and minimize material wastage.

Follow applicable safety and quality requirements.

2. Civil Finishing Sales

Generate and develop business opportunities for civil finishing products/services.

Meet architects, contractors,



builders, developers, interior designers, and clients to understand project requirements.

Promote and explain suitable finishing products and solutions to customers.

Prepare quotations, commercial proposals, BOQs, and cost estimates.

Coordinate with customers from enquiry through quotation, negotiation, order, and execution.

Conduct site visits to understand dimensions, specifications, and finishing requirements.

Provide technical support to customers regarding product selection and application.

Follow up on enquiries, quotations, orders, payments, and customer requirements.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.

Achieve assigned sales and business-development targets.

3. Civil Drawing & CAD Drafting

Prepare 2D civil drawings and layouts using AutoCAD.

Prepare plans, sections, elevations, details, and finishing drawings as required.

Prepare drawings based on site measurements, architectural drawings, and project requirements.

Modify and update drawings based on site conditions and client/consultant comments.

Prepare working drawings, shop drawings, detail drawings, and as-built drawings.

Maintain proper drawing revisions and documentation.

Coordinate civil drawings with architectural, structural, MEP, and finishing requirements.

Ensure drawings are accurate and issued according to project requirements.

Required Skills





Bachelor's/Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.

Good knowledge of civil construction and finishing works.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and preparation of civil drawings.

Understanding of BOQ, estimation, quantity calculation, and costing.

Knowledge of construction materials and finishing products.

Good communication and client-handling skills.

Ability to conduct site visits and take accurate measurements.

Sales and negotiation skills.

Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and civil drawings.

Good knowledge of MS Office/Excel.

Ability to coordinate multiple activities and work with deadlines.

Preferred Experience

Experience in one or more of the following will be preferred:

Civil construction/project execution

Civil finishing works

Building materials or finishing product sales

Architectural/civil drafting

AutoCAD drafting

BOQ preparation and estimation

Site supervision and client coordination

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will be a technically strong Civil Engineer with a combination of site experience, sales ability, and CAD drafting skills. The person should be comfortable working both on-site and in the office, interacting with customers, preparing drawings and quotations, and supporting the complete project/sales cycle.
