Job Title: Senior Safety Manager

Project Location: Thane, Mumbai

Experience Required: 15+ Years

Qualification: B.Tech (Any Specialization)

ADIS (Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety) Mandatory (Recognized State Board Approved)

Project Experience Required : Roads Metro Projects Bridges Tunnels.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and enforce Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policies and procedures across the project.

• Ensure full compliance with statutory safety regulations, labour laws, and project specific safety requirements.

• Lead and manage the project safety team, including Safety Officers and Supervisors.

• Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, risk assessments, and hazard identification.

• Prepare and implement Safety Management Plans (SMP), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Method Statements, and emergency response plans.

• Organize and conduct safety induction programs, toolbox talks, training sessions, and safety awareness campaigns.

• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-miss cases; conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective & preventive actions.

• Maintain all safety records,



statutory registers, permits, and MIS reports.

• Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Subcontractors, and Client safety teams to ensure a safe working environment.

• Liaise with government authorities, safety auditors, and third-party agencies during inspections and audits.

• Promote a solid safety culture with the objective of zero accidents.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• In-depth knowledge of construction safety standards and HSE regulations

• Experience in handling large-scale infrastructure projects

• Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills

• Expertise in accident investigation and safety compliance management

• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and high-risk activities

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Minimum 15+ years of safety experience in Roads, Metros, Bridges & Tunnels projects

• Mandatory ADIS certification

• Exposure to coastal or marine-related infrastructure projects will be an added advantage
