ROLE SUMMARY

The Territory In Charge is responsible for driving retail sales through the distribution channel within the assigned branch, ensuring healthy business growth, solid market coverage, and disciplined execution of company sales and collection norms.

REPORTING STRUCTURE

Reports to: Branch Head / State Head

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales & Collections

- Achieve sales targets as per assigned budget across Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary sales.
- Ensure collections are managed strictly as per company commercial norms.

Productivity

- Maintain team manpower productivity in line with preset norms.
- Drive in-shop promoter productivity as per metro and non-metro pre-set slabs.
- Deliver town-wise and dealer-wise productivity as per prescribed benchmarks.

Distribution Expansion

- Expand distribution in line with defined geographical coverage; ensure PJP (Permanent Journey Plan)

- Onboard new dealers in existing towns and add dealers in new towns as per classification norms.

Customer & Market Management

- Coordinate with the service team to ensure prompt and effective customer service.
- Recruit, train, and retrain In-Shop Promoters (ISPs) to enhance overall productivity.
- Ensure optimal display and merchandising at retail outlets.
- Track and report competitor activity and market intelligence.
- Support sales forecasting and scheme redistribution.

Reporting & Coordination

- Submit structured reports on a weekly, fortnightly, and monthly basis.
- Liaise with other support functions relevant to the assigned area of operation.
