We are looking for an experienced Data & AI Engineer (Power BI / Azure) with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on technical experience in BI and Analytics roles, with strong experience in building and maintaining intuitive, user-friendly dashboards using OBIEE and Power BI.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Power BI, OBIEE/OAS, Azure Data services, SQL/PL/SQL, ETL/ELT, data modelling, data governance and BI migration**, along with exposure to AI/ML technologies.

Key Responsibilities

* Design, develop and maintain intuitive and user-friendly dashboards using **Power BI and OBIEE/OAS.
* Develop Power BI solutions using DAX, Power Query/M and star-schema data modelling.
* Implement Row-Level Security (RLS)** and manage Power BI workspaces and gateways.
* Perform OBIEE/OAS report analysis and reverse engineering, including RPD metadata modelling, Answers and Dashboards.
* Execute OBIEE to Power BI migration activities including report inventory, business logic mapping, parity testing and report decommissioning.
* Develop and maintain data pipelines using ETL/ELT processes.
* Work with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse / Microsoft Fabric and Azure SQL.
* Work with Databricks where required.
* Develop complex queries and data processing solutions using SQL and PL/SQL.
* Manage Power BI Premium / Microsoft Fabric capacities, paginated reports and deployment pipelines.
* Implement version control and deployment practices for BI artefacts.
* Implement data governance and data quality processes including data lineage, cataloguing and reconciliation.
* Work with Microsoft Purview for data cataloguing and governance.
* Extract and integrate data from ERP systems and third-party applications into Data Warehouse / Microsoft Fabric environments.
* Build data models and analytical solutions to support business reporting and decision-making.
* Work with Python/R, Azure AutoML and Microsoft Fabric AI capabilities.




* Support AI/ML use cases using Azure OpenAI and data pipelines designed for AI applications.
* Troubleshoot and optimize BI reports, dashboards, data pipelines and related data solutions.
* Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand reporting, analytics and data requirements.

Candidate Requirements

* Minimum 5 years of hands-on technical experience in BI / Analytics roles.
* Mandatory hands-on experience with both OBIEE and Power BI.
* Strong experience building and maintaining production-grade Power BI dashboards and reports.
* Strong knowledge of DAX,



Power Query/M and star-schema data modelling.
* Experience with Power BI security, workspace and gateway administration.
* Hands-on experience with OBIEE/OAS RPD modelling, Answers and Dashboards.
* Proven experience in OBIEE to Power BI migration, including report inventory, logic mapping and parity testing.
* Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills with experience in ETL/ELT pipeline development.
* Experience with Azure Data Factory, Synapse/Fabric and Azure SQL.
* Experience with Power BI Premium/Fabric capacity management, paginated reports and deployment pipelines.
* Understanding of data governance, lineage, cataloguing and data quality.
* Experience with Microsoft Purview is preferred.
* Experience extracting data from ERP and third-party systems into a Data Warehouse / Fabric environment.
* Knowledge of Python/R and AI/ML technologies is an advantage.
* Exposure to Azure OpenAI and AI-focused data pipelines is preferred.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
