Role & responsibilities

- Manage the tendering process for civil and related works from preparation of tender documents through finalisation of contractors.
- Coordinate with Architects, Structural Consultants and MEP/Services Consultants to obtain and review drawings, specifications and technical inputs.
- Prepare, organise and review BOQs (Bill of Quantities) based on drawings and project requirements.
- Prepare cost estimates, rate analysis and budgets for various civil works.
- Identify and source suitable contractors, vendors and suppliers and obtain competitive quotations.
- Evaluate quotations and prepare detailed comparative statements for management review.
- Coordinate with vendors/contractors for clarifications, scope alignment and commercial negotiations.
- Assist in finalisation of contractors and preparation of work orders/contracts, including scope, specifications, rates and terms.
- Ensure that tender documents, drawings, BOQs and commercial details are properly coordinated and updated.
- Maintain records of quotations, comparisons, negotiations, contracts and other tender-related documentation.
- Coordinate with various agencies to ensure timely receipt of drawings,



specifications and other information required for execution.
- Assist in developing project schedules, timelines and activity plans.
- Prepare and monitor project timelines in coordination with the project team.
- Use MS Project or similar project scheduling software for preparing schedules and tracking project progress.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project planning and execution.

Preferred candidate profile

- Strong knowledge of civil construction, quantities, BOQs, estimation and tendering.
- Excellent MS Excel skills, including preparation of BOQs, estimates and comparative statements.
- Strong coordination and communication skills with architects, consultants, contractors and vendors.
- Good understanding of construction drawings and specifications.
- Ability to analyse quotations and commercial proposals.
- Robust organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to independently manage multiple tendering and coordination activities.
- Knowledge of MS Project or other scheduling software will be an added advantage.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
