Job Title: Senior merchandiser/ Category manager

Areas of excellence: vendor coordination/ management & outsource manufacturing.

Objective

- Establish & lead a system driven, cross functional team, operating across product categories & vendors.
- Create product planogram comprehensive product planning across product categories.
- Ensure paving gaps on product, communication and information sharing, enabling a smooth functioning and coordination across functions.
- Ensure consistent & quality parameter driven product for the brands premium positioning, via its product recognition, placement & timely delivery, to match quality par excellence.

Scope of work

Design integrity:

- Smooth functioning across functional teams design- merchandizer- vendor
- Optimum actualization of design, basis desired result and approved aesthetics.

Vendor management

- Identify & manage outsourcing partners.
- Align negotiations and critical cost parameters without compromising the desired outcome & margin structures
- Match delivery timelines
- Produce data at all time for quick and easy functioning

Technical execution

- Supervise scalable production complexities in product making.
- Frequent audits of prototype and production cohesiveness with vendor partners.




- Provide clear inputs on trims, quality, dimension, label placements, barcodes and mandatories via comprehensive product packs for each of reference and corelation.
- Provide necessary approvals for timely deliveries

Product construction dynamics

- Audit & validate prototypes for feasibility, enabling smooth production, via paving bottlenecks.

Vigilance on timely deliveries

- Ensure aesthetically and technically correct prototypes towards product photo shoots & catalogues.
- Ensure complete and cohesive tech packs for ease of communication towards final production.

Experience required:

- 7 to 10 years of working in a similar set up and industry for easy of adaptation.
- Proven track records in vendor identification and development for premium textile product outcome.
- Proven track record in flawless supply chain management with outsource sourcing partners/factories
- Ability to control and handle disaster management
- Positive technical and functional understanding of product merged with aesthetic excellence.
- Strong financial acumen for strict margin control and material negotiations.
- Strong communication skills& team building/working ethics.
