Key Responsibilities

1. Installation, configuration and maintenance of computers, laptops, printers and other IT equipment.
2. Providing technical support to department officials and staff.
3. Troubleshooting hardware, software, network and connectivity-related issues.
4. Installation and updating of operating systems, applications and required software.
5. Maintenance and basic administration of LAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches and other networking equipment.
6. Monitoring computer systems and resolving technical issues within the required time.
7. Assisting in data backup, recovery and routine system maintenance.
8. Maintaining records of IT assets, equipment and technical complaints.
9. Providing support for email, internet, printers, scanners and other office IT facilities.
10. Assisting the department in implementing and maintaining IT-related systems and applications.
11. Ensuring proper handling and confidentiality of official data and information.
12. Performing any other IT-related duties assigned by the authorized officer of the concerned department.
