Role: Sales Associate

Job SummaryAs a Sales Associate at Lenskart, you will be responsible for providing an excellent in-store customer experience, understanding customers' eyewear requirements, recommending suitable products, and achieving store sales targets.

- Key ResponsibilitiesWelcome customers and understand their eyewear requirements.
- Explain and recommend eyeglasses, sunglasses, contact lenses and related products.
- Assist customers in selecting frames based on their preferences, face shape, usage and budget.
- Explain lens options, coatings, pricing, offers and product features.
- Support customers during the purchase process and ensure accurate order details.
- Coordinate with the optometrist/team for eye-test and prescription-related requirements.
- Maintain proper display and visual merchandising of frames and sunglasses.
- Handle billing, order tracking,



delivery and basic customer queries.
- Follow up with customers regarding orders, collections and after-sales service.
- Maintain store cleanliness, inventory and product presentation.
- Work towards individual and store-level sales targets.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate issues when required.
- Follow Lenskart's store processes, policies and customer-service standards.
- Skills & Qualifications12th pass or graduate; retail/sales experience is an advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-focused and comfortable interacting with different types of customers.
- Basic sales and negotiation skills.
- Ability to understand customer needs and recommend suitable products.
- Comfortable working with sales targets.
- Basic computer/POS knowledge.
- Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Preferred CandidateFresher or candidates with experience in retail, showroom sales, fashion, optical or consumer electronics sales can apply.
- Candidates who are confident, energetic and interested in customer-facing retail roles are preferred.
