About the Role -

North Star Engineering is a fire safety services company involved in the consultation, supply and installation of fire safety equipment and systems.

We are looking for a responsible and organized Store Manager to independently manage our warehouse/godown, maintain inventory, coordinate material dispatches to project sites, and ensure smooth day-to-day store operations.

The ideal candidate should be hands-on, detail-oriented, and capable of maintaining accurate stock records while coordinating with the office, purchase team, technicians and site teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day operations of the company’s store/godown.
- Receive, inspect and properly store incoming materials and equipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory/stock records for all fire safety materials.
- Handle material inward and outward entries and maintain proper documentation.
- Prepare materials as per site/project requirements and arrange timely dispatch.
- Coordinate with site teams regarding material requirements and deliveries.
- Track stock levels and inform management about low-stock, excess-stock or required materials.
- Ensure proper identification, labeling and systematic storage of materials.
- Maintain records of damaged, returned, unused and obsolete materials.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile it with inventory records.
- Ensure proper housekeeping, cleanliness and safety within the warehouse.
- Coordinate with purchase/vendors for incoming material and shortages,



whenever required.
- Maintain proper records of delivery challans, material issue slips, invoices and other store documents.
- Ensure materials are handled and stored safely to prevent damage or loss.
- Support the management in improving inventory control and store processes.
- Coordinate with technicians, project/site teams and management for smooth material movement.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in store, warehouse or inventory management.
- Experience in engineering, construction, fire & safety, electrical, mechanical or similar industries will be preferred.
- Mechanical Engineering background will be an added advantage.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management and stock control.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets and basic computer operations.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to independently manage day-to-day store activities.
- Responsible, punctual and disciplined approach to work.

Salary & Perks
