Role & responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain Snowflake data warehouse solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data into Snowflake
- Optimize Snowflake queries and data pipelines for performance
- Create and manage data models, schemas, and database objects
- Ensure data quality and integrity through validation processes
- Develop and maintain ETL workflows and pipelines
- Monitor and troubleshoot data warehouse performance issues
- Stay updated with Snowflake best practices and current features

Preferred candidate profile:

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- Proven experience as a Snowflake Developer or similar role
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Snowflake SQL
- Experience with data modeling and schema design
- Knowledge of ETL concepts and tools
- Understanding of data warehousing principles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
