Job Description We are looking for an experienced and responsible Accountant to handle day-to-day accounting operations, GST, TDS, customer outstanding and payment collection activities for our pharmaceutical company.

- Key Responsibilities Handle day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
- Manage GST-related work, including invoice checking, GST reconciliation and return-related documentation.
- Handle TDS calculation, deduction, payment and return filing.
- Maintain sales and purchase invoices and ensure proper accounting entries.
- Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP).
- Monitor customer-wise outstanding balances and prepare regular outstanding reports.
- Follow up with customers through calls, WhatsApp and email for payment collection as per outstanding and agreed credit terms.
- Take payment commitments from customers and regularly follow up until payment is received.
- Coordinate with customers regarding pending invoices, payment status and account-related discrepancies.
- Update received payments and maintain accurate customer ledgers.
- Handle vendor payments and other payment-related activities.
- Prepare payment vouchers, receipts and other accounting documents.
- Perform bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation.




- Verify purchase, sales and expense bills before processing.
- Maintain proper records of all financial transactions and supporting documents.
- Coordinate with management, customers, vendors, auditors and consultants for accounts-related matters.
- Assist in monthly closing and preparation of accounting reports.
- Ensure timely completion of accounting and statutory compliance-related work.
- Required SkillsStrong practical knowledge of GST and TDS.
- Good knowledge of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and payment collection.
- Excellent follow-up skills for customer outstanding/payment recovery.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software/ERP.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and work within deadlines.
- Preferred Candidate Pharmaceutical / Healthcare industry experience preferred.
- Candidates having experience in pharma company accounting, customer outstanding and payment collection will be preferred.
- Practical experience in GST, TDS, customer ledger, bank reconciliation and payments is required.

Qualification Any Graduate can apply.

Candidates with B.Com / M.Com or relevant accounting experience will be preferred.
